I was out in LV for a business trip last week. Time to sneak in a round of golf was not certain so I didn't bring my clubs. Did manage to sneak out and the rental was an M2 set. Typical of TM clubs off the rack fo me, the less loft the more fade (driver was an outright slice) I had. Finally played using the 5 Iron off the tee. That was only 160 yards but I could keep it in the fairway.
I'm sure a good fitter could have improved the results, but finding out that Titleist encourages custom fittings over off the rack inventory was an accidental but literally game changing discovery for me (8 years ago). I'd forgotten how much off the rack can hurt a player's game.
