Does anyone know how much it would cost to go to the titleist plant in Carlbad California, to be fitted for clubs, and if their are any package deals.and if golfers think it is worth going out their to be fitted. thanks Jerry

  2. You are fitted at the Titleist Performance Institute which is down the street from the plant. The cost is around $200-$600+ depending on what you wish to be fitted for...

Not sure of the cost, but I plan on going next year. I entered a contest for a complete fitting for me and my wife, but I am still waiting for them to inform us that we won.
  4. I was fitted for irons at Titleist in Oceanside. Excellent facility and well worth the $250.

Here's a link to all their prices:

Exactly what Todd said above, I was there in November for a full bag fitting and it was a great experience.

will probably run around $500 but it is worth every penny. Those guys at the TPI are the best and will make sure you get exactly what you need to play your best. Plus the facility is awesome.
  8. I did a full bag fitting at TPI in Oceanside the week of Thanksgiving and it exceeded all expectations. Lucas was my fitter, he was top notch. In particular, the wedge fitting was the most revolutionary - highly recommended.

I do have a question. This year I’ve already outfitted my bag with new T200 irons, TS2 driver and hybrid. Do you think it’s a waste of time to go for a fitting in Carlsbad if I’ve already stocked the bag with brand new gear. I’m just not sure I’m getting the most out of my clubs since they were off the rack.

IMO, no. After paying for the bag and you'd still need to negotiate the purchase of new clubs or re-shafting with a local pro shop. TPI only generates the specs, they are not involved in supplying the clubs. If you bought them from a large dealer with a 30 day restock policy, have them actually do a fitting. If beyond that, if you can find a premier fitting site to work with you to optimize what needs to be optimized, that may be the most cost-effective short of repurchasing the clubs. The local pro shop of a site that sponsors Titleist Thursdays is another option to work with you if you need changes after a TT fitting.

Eventually, you should have a shop you have faith in to get fit up front. Titleist protects their pro shops, and they are competitive price-wise with any national retailer. And rarely sells one size fits all rack stock.
