  1. recently installed new shaft on my TS-2 driver after trimming 2" off butt end swingweight is E-0 ,would like to get swingweight down to D-3 AREA,TRIED MID-SIZE GRIP BUT ONLY GOT DOWN TO D-8. ANY RECONMENDATIONS ?

  2. Not to insult your intelligence, but make sure you are reading the swingweight scale correctly as that is a very heavy swingweight for a driver, I dont see how shortening it by 2 inches still gives you an E0, unless you have crazy heavy weights or lead tape on the head, the only way to lighten the swingweight if no changes are made to the head is increase weight in the grip end, extra wraps of tape under the grip or even using lead tape or counterbalance weights in the grip, there is also tungsten spray you could use for the inside of the shaft. Always remember total weight has no correlation to swing weight.

This link may help you...it sounds like you are doing something incorrect. Anytime I take 2" off a club I am driving down swingweight on the lighter side dramatically.
