Cutting driver shaft

    Hi, I plan on ordering the TS2 driver at 43.5" with a 15 gram weight instead of the 9 gram one to make up some of the lost swing weight. With the head being heavier, will you trim some of the shaft at the tip because of that or take the whole 2" off the butt end ?

    Cutting the butt end will not affect the flex. Cutting the tip will.

    Unless you need to adjust flex (and request same) they will take all off the butt- 2" would be 12 swing weight points with the additional weight gaining back 3 swing weight points so I would be very specific in requesting your desired swing weight and Titleist will advise if it can't be met.
