  1. OK, before your wild comment, I am a cross handed golfer, handy cap 10.3 on Persimmon Ridge, Louisville KY. I hit an old set of RGB TM with ksb 105 shaft. Striking the ball like this I lose a lot of distance, PW 80 yards, 9 Iron 100 yards.. I want to upgrade with new Irons, with my driver its about 270 yards so the technique of golf are there. 7-Iron 135 to 140. Just with the ball strike it hits high as it is far. Have had every person knowing to man kind to adjust the strike, just got to live with it. Need to know which t clubs or blend would be good, thoughts. T- 400 for P.W or T-300 +2

  2. Have a fitter put you on trackman and see what your attack angle is with a 7 iron and your landing angle. That will clear up any confusion with what lofts your irons should be. On a side note attack angles can change drastically just by adjusting the ball position. I fit guys that play the ball with a 7 iron where they should be with a driver, their attack angle will be very high - 24-28* most guys will optimize their numbers in the 18-21* range. Land angle with a 7 iron should be in the 45-50* range (a little outside of that range is ok)

The T-400 is for old codgers like myself to help launch the ball easier, as my driver carry with the TS-1 is under 220 (and we all only ever count the best shots). I was able to strike the AP3 as well as the AP1, but was able to gain distance with the T-300 and the T-400 smoked that. That moved me from 130-135 to 142-148 on a 7 iron.

If you are hitting high with no roll-out, then you might do better with the T-300 with a lower launching shaft that what I have used. The T400 has the 50 g option for my best fit. I won't know how the T400 P and 43 irons do until I can unwrap the plastic when stay at home is lifted, but your best bet is to work with a qualified Titleist fitter. Persimmon Country Club lists Saturday events for "Titleist Thurdsays". Check with "Fitting" tab on the web page for more information. Even on Saturday's, they would still be free fittings.

I purchased new t100 irons and have noticed the specs show the lie angle is 3-4 degrees different from 4 iron to the pw, i guess I am asking could this difference in the lie angle be a good reason for hitting shots with the 6-pw left of target ?
Did not have this issue with my AP2s do you have any suggestions?

The changes in lie angle is to account for the variation in length of shaft from 4-P. The shorter the shaft, the steeper the shaft is to the ground.

Working with a good fitter, that person can check if you need a lie adjustment. In my case, I tend to use my upper torso rather than swing in to out, so I'm rotating my swing path towards a pull. Changing the club head lie won't fix my problem. A good fitter might find a solution to tweak your swing if it is not the clubs.
