Can this safely be done? Assuming it will add bounce but will it be too much that it makes the club not play as intended. Any other problems I should be made aware of by doing this?

If you want the weaker lofts I would recommend ordering them that way. Not sure if the heads are made with the weaker lofts or they bend the standard heads, but having Titleist do that would be best IMO.

Or maybe you already have them so its not an option. May want to call Titleist and ask them.

I just got fit for some T200s. I don't like how strong the lofts are but the way I see it they are essentially a club strong, especially in the short irons. PW is 43 degrees and GW is 48. To me, doesn't really matter what number is on the club anyway.

I’ve ordered the T200 5 & 6 iron, 1 deg weak. So the lofts flow better between my U510 4 iron, and my ordered 7-GW T100-S.
Yes, the T200 can safely be bent 2 deg weak, it will add 2 deg bounce to each club, it will also reduce the offset of each club slightly.
