Good Evening everyone, i am new to putting fittings and am curious what to expect?

I have my eyes on a Newport style putter personally but have wondered how it all works for the fitting.

Also, I've seen putting discs around and always wondered if they are worth buying or not?

Like Trackman radar devices for hitting, there is technology for putting. SAM (Science And Motion) with a K-vest that can analyze your natural tendencies. Putters have various amounts of toe hang. In general blades will have the most and mallets will have the least. The more arc in your swing the increased toe hang will help square the face at impact. Too much or too little toe hang for your swing will make it harder to square the face and contribute to a tendency to push or pull putts. Especially shorter putts.

Visual setup is important but also work with your fitter to pick designs suitable to your natural swing. Even w/o the technology there are mirrors and other ways to determine your natural amount of arc. 75% of golfers think they have no arc, 90% of them are incorrect.

I like all Scotty Cameron putters, but headcover with velcro is not that great.
When it is new, it is OK but not more. Older it get, worst it is.
Magnet to close cover is the best and stay good forever.

Headcover on png CrazE with magnet for closure stay in good shape forever!
