  1. Now I am a veteran 80 + I find it difficult to use my old 913D2 which has Diamana Blue 65 gram shaft. I have Graphite Design YSQ 45 gram shaft . Will the 913 take this shaft OK ?

Yes, but you would need to have a Titleist SureFit adapter installed on the shaft. I would suggest finding a good club repair shop to assist with that installation.
As an option, I would suggest going through a fitting for a new TS1 with a Titleist fitter. The overall weight of the TS1 will be less than your 913D2 even with a 45g shaft. The price for the TS1 has recently dropped, but it's still fairly expensive.
  3. I have located fitter visiting shortly, will update.

Besides Barry’s recommendation to look at a TS1 driver (new or used) the other problem with a 45 g shaft is this will increase the swing weight. Finding a lighter 913 weight will be difficult. So the driver may feel like swinging a 2 lb sledgehammer than a 1 lb hammer. You’d need to work with a repair shop to consider a heavier grip or similar to keep the feel the same. But if you have a shaft, worth a try. I had to move from the Diamana blue shafts before 70.
