  1. I currently have the old TM R11 driver. (Shaft Fujikura blue 60 9 degree stiff) Which I have loved over the years and generally hit around the 270-275 yard mark. However I realise I need to move on .

I have managed to borrow a TSi2 driver 9 degree with a Tensei av white 65g stiff shaft.

From my Trackman numbers my swing speed of 103mph with the TSi2 was consistently 4-5mph slower in comparison to my R11.

Although what was very clear, is the TSi2 is more efficient in terms of ball speed, spin, carry and total distance etc. As even with a slower swing speed, my driving distance were slightly better than my R11

I’m assuming this reduced swing speed must be down to the shaft fitted on the TSi2?? If so what shaft should I try? I like the feel of the club, and feel I could get some real gains if I can get this swing speed as my R11

    Thanks

I think a lighter shaft should help with speed. There are a number of stock shaft options available. You should get fit to make sure you are getting the right set up.

I think the TSI2 is the right driver for me when I upgrade. The shaft is the most important thing IMO.

It sounds like you should go through a Titleist fitting where you can hit the TSi2 or TSi3 heads (multiple lofts) with multiple shafts to find the combo that gives you the performance you are looking for.

Honestly, your best getting fitted for the shaft to maximize all of your potential.
