I recently did a fitting with a Titleist rep at my club which was awesome.

He put me in the TSi3, Tensei White X, 9 degrees, neutral. I also hit the same setup with the Ventus Blue X.

I wanted to see if anyone has played with these long enough to make a comparison. Trying to decide if it is worth the upgrade to the Ventus.

    Thanks!

Which shaft gave you the best performance numbers? If neither shaft is an outright winner based on your numbers, then cost is the discriminator and the question becomes do you want to spend $345 for similar performance. My 2 cents, if the fitter put you in the Tensei White shaft then he probably believes it's the best fit for you.

The Tensei line is really good. I’d say go with that and see how it works for 10 rounds or so. If you’re unhappy with it, you could always order the Ventus later.

Good luck! I love the new drivers!
  4. Looking at the Titleist website, there doesn't appear to be any discount to order the Ventus like there is with the GD shafts. So, I agree with kaizen10366 that you might better off going with the Tensei White and changing later if you decide to go that way. Plus, you can always sell the Tensei shaft to support the purchase of the Ventus.
