  1. Hello, i am interested in purchasing a new driver, I really want the new driver you offer in a shorter shaft length of 44.5. I am concerned about swingweight. If i order the driver are you able to maintain the d3 - d4 swingweight with shorter shaft?

The driver i would be purchasing would be the tsi3.

    Thank you,

    John Stasko

This forum is monitored by Titleist personnel, but we are primarily end-users. Your pro shop/retailer can request a swing weight as part of the order. If Titleist can't build it as ordered, they will check back with your dealer. Be sure to include your preferred grip as that impacts the build as well. That will be your best source to find if Titleist can do it.
  3. Why would you want to increase the Swingweight? If you do so by adding weight to the clubhead, you will increase the moment of inertia of the club, thereby reducing clubhead speed. Are you hitting the ball too far? Please forget about swingweight, it is damaging your game.

If he likes the feel of D3 or D4 and it works for his tempo, then there is no reason NOT to have the swingweight at what works best for him. It won't necessarily make the ball go farther, but having a better tempo as a result of having a SW that fits your swing or helps you achieve the perfect tempo, just might make the ball go further.
