  1. Should a guy that is 6'3" to 6'4" get added length to the standard clubs we can buy at any golf store? If so, do they have to make fully custom clubs or do they extend/add to standard length clubs? how much more $$$ do custom fitted clubs cost?

Longer length isn't strictly related to your height- the starting point for the proper length is your wrist to floor measurement and after that any adjustment required to allow you to hit the ball in the middle of the club. Adding length (or deducting) to a standard length club will change the swing weight of the club and may not suit you. A proper fitting is always best.

Absolutely correct and find a fitter, preferably doing outdoor fittings on actual turf. The worst fitter I ever used was me.

Titleist clubs are sold by the each. Whether “off the rack” or custom, the price is the same. The exception are up charge grips and if the shaft has an up charge. Many custom shafts are N/C as well. The fitter can explain that. Most fitters at pro shops will eliminate or reduce the fitting fee for ordering 6 or more irons.

Just popping in to say I'm 6'2" and my irons are a half inch short of standard and my metalwoods are a full inch shorter. I'll add to the notion of getting a proper fitting.

As a taller guy, 6'5", absolutely get fit. Mine are 1" long and 1 degree upright based on being properly fit. Do the same for your wedges, likely they'll have to port them like they did mine to keep the swing weight somewhat near normal.

If you do the fitting through an authorized reseller, you shouldn't have to pay extra unless you choose exotic shafts and/or grips.

Im 6’-5” and have +1” and 1 upright on all of my irons and wedges. 37” long on my Newport 2 . But get a static fit at least. Wrist to floor measurement matters a lot.

Answering the last part of your question, Titleist will build to your fitting specs for the same price as their off-the-shelf clubs as long as you do not select a non-stocked custom shaft that requires an up-charge. It will take a bit longer to get them as the entire industry is slammed with orders and component supply shortages. There also will be a transition period where some of the 2020 models are being replaced with 2022 models so old styles may not be available as custom orders. Talk with a certified retailer or pro shop. Cheers.

I am 6"2" and my irons are 1/2" over and 2" upright. As you can see from the responses, the numbers are all over the place. Point being, most of us have been fitting and it is imperative that you go see a Titleist certified fitter to ensure that you are getting the club that is right for "you". Going into a big box store and purchasing a set off the rack might fit your immediate needs, but in the short term you will be unhappy and end up purchasing another set which will cost you a lot more that getting a properly fit set of clubs. The feedback you are getting on here is the voice of experience and there is no charge for that from fellow loyalists. With respect.
  9. Hi:

Agree with most of the posters, I am 6'3", but my arms are unusually long so I have standard irons and an inch shorter on my driver. Whatever combination works to let your arms and shaft length make a comfortable arc.
