    Hi Team Titleist,

We all know, there are no stock players, no stock swings, and hence, no stock setups.

A Titleist golf club fitting is so much more than determining your specs – it’s about learning which shots you need and finding the right clubs to hit those shots.

So in our latest quick poll, we want to know a little more about how you get fit for your clubs. Cast your vote in the quick poll below and feel free to share even more insight by adding a comment.

In the past I felt I wasn’t good enough to play Titleist irons. Not anymore I just got fitted with T200’s and I love them.
  3. I take advantage of the Team Titleist Package at Pinehurst each spring and get fitted at the Academy there.

I get fit at Glen Oak Golf Course (Buffalo, NY area) from Titleist certified fitter Rob Krajewski. He is super knowledgeable and takes the time to get it right with you. My son, who played in the USGA Mid Am, also comes in from Cleveland to use Rob as his fitter too. I wouldn't go to anyone else.

Myself and my three sons all play all Titleist clubs and balls.

Whether it's through TPI Oceanside or Adam Kase (Titleist rep for Albuquerque area), I make sure that the clubs I purchase are fitted to my swing and style of play. Why shoot higher scores than you should!

I was fitted for a new set of irons on Aug 4th and I am still waiting for them after 5 months. No one can tell me when I will receive them. Thanks for nothing. Jack Donasky
  7. I recently got fitted for a full bag of new Titleist clubs (irons, wedges and woods). The Chris Cote Golf professionals in Connecticut were fantastic and would highly recommend them.
  8. If you really care about your game, you go to a fitter, one you trust, not just some guy at a big box golf retailer...unless you know you can trust him. I never got fitted until twelve years ago and haven't looked back since. In fact, my fitter knows me so well that he fitted me to a new Tsi-2 driver in ten minutes. Already had it adjusted and the right shaft installed. From the first swing, I was in a groove. How can you beat that?

You can go around here(AZ)to Van’s or PGA Superstore, but don’t know how good they
really are. Trust Club Champion more, but they lead you into high priced shafts. Now you have to wait eight weeks to get them. Titleist doesn’t do much promotional things around here.
  10. Check out the various club /shaft options.
What works best for preferred shot shapes, trajectories and distances.
Hopefully your fitter can give you a demo to actually play a round with ??
Work with your fitter to evaluate and make a decision.
  11. I got fitted in and placed my order 8/14, and it’s been nearly 18 weeks and I still don’t have my clubs. Maybe Titleist should focus on delivering the clubs already ordered.

My goal is to get to the CA fitting facility! If not I guess my next best option is club champion. Don’t want to rush the fitting as I need to get everything new but the putter.

I have two Titleist certified fitters that I use that have over 25 years experience.

One is a Titleist Product Specialist and is at Pawleys Island about an hour from here and he does fittings on the range. He does Titleist Thursdays and lives in my community. We work together at times doing golf events in Myrtle Beach, Charleston and Hilton Head.

My other fitter is five minutes from my house and he does in house fittings. It can take months to get an appointment to see him. His full line retail golf shop (Titleist and FJ account) includes fittings, lessons, repair shop and online sales. I have known him for many years do a lot of retail business with him. I can call him a true friend.

Not always easy to find fitters you can truly trust.

Typically I use the Titleist Thursday Fittings for my fittings. I don't change clubs very often & I have been working with Brian now for about 4 years now at those events. If not Brian I go to a dear friend of mine that used to fit me for my clubs & did/does all my club work in the past & present. Dwight knows my swing inside & out and what my clubs should be for my swing.

But I will get fitted or at least hit new clubs outside before I purchase any of them.
