Theres alot of differnt putter stability shafts that work well and i have used one before i find they work really well on of centre hits near the toe because theres a reduction on twisting and keeps the ball on line.
I also noticed that the ball came off with a more consistane role.
The best way like anything is to keep researching and then find a fitter that will help find you what works best with your game and putter.

I have used a variety of shafts recently in my putter. I have played steel for my entire playing career but recently bought a Scotty Cameron CT with a graphite shaft by Diamana. It definitely feels different in a couple ways. The stiffness of the shaft is slightly more and the feel of impact I do not feel vibrations as much. Some people feel they want a more flexible shaft and others want to feel vibrations so it is a personal preference. I have also played the LA Golf graphite shaft and I have arrived at similar conclusions. Bottomline, if you have the extra cash for the cost it may be worth experimenting. At this time graphite shafts are only available in a few SC CT Putters, no OTR's, FYI.

I picked up the new png PLD Anser Matte putter and it does have a graphite shaft and the feel is great. Am I have played Scotty Cameron putters for many years and still have a Special Select Newport 2 with a steel shaft but the new png is currently my gamer. Love the milled face. Am not a collector normally only keep a couple to play with, one for fast greens and one for slower greens. The png seems to work better on faster greens.

After playing with the Anser for almost two months, I decided to bring the Newport 2 back out. We all know what comes next, it is not the arrow, but that Indian pulling the string. Started back with it last week and my playing coach noticed that I was toe up with my Scotty and we took it to my fitter/repair shop and they adjust the lie one degree down. Has helped some, but again the Indian has to pull that string and I think the Scotty is back in the bag to stay. Feeling is back.

I have rolled a few putts with a graphite-shafted putter. Less vibration as stated above and I can feel the putter head a little more.
