    Hello all my name is Walter I’m about an8 handicap and want to get fitted! Didn’t know if it was a set cost or if there are different types and what the average price for a top to bottom fit? Thanks

    Fitting fees vary from $100 to $500 depending on a local pro shop to a custom club builder. One example of a custom club builder is Club Champion. Depending on clubs purchased, the fitting fee may be reduced or eliminated.

    A full set of current model clubs would easily be in the range of $2500-3000.

    At the top of the page there is a button "Fitting" that can re-direct you to the nearest fitting centre and then it should show the costs as well or the contact info is there and you can give them a call.

    Depending on where you go get fit the cost and experience will vary. Going to TPI is the best experience and the cost is in line with what you would see at specialty fitters. There are a couple of other cool perks if you go to TPI as well. Some of the cost is the experience, some of the cost is how the fitter guides you through the process. You want your fitting to be interactive where you provide feedback of what like and don't like about a particular club combo/setup.

    You can look on the fitting section of Titleist.com and see the costs at TPI.

    I know others have talked about Club Champion, have never been so can't comment.

    I have been to TPI twice and did 2 other outdoor fittings with Titleist and loved them all. An outdoor fitting is more ideal as you can see ball flight in more golf like conditions.

    If you go to a Team Titleist Fitting , there is a $100.00 fee which will be put towards a purchase. I would go to a Certified Titleist Fitter over anyone else.

    I did one at my club, which was a Titleist-specific fitting, and I wasn't charged at all. I'm not sure if it was because I purchased but they didn't indicate there would be a cost if I didn't buy. The club was selective about who they invited, mainly because they didn't want time wasters with no intention of purchasing there whilst those who did intend buying missed out. I'd made it clear to them prior to knowing about the fitting that I was in the market for new clubs.

    I can honestly say it was worthwhile doing, though. As an example, I've always had issues with my hybrid. The clubs were gifted to me by my wife (when her father passed away), and some of the clubs I just didn't gel with. I hit the driver the same distance as my 3W, the hybrid was terrible, no matter how I hit it, I always felt like I hit it thin. Maybe it had too much or too little flex. In the fitting, the fitter asked me to hit my current club twice, told me it wasn't suited to my swing and made a few changes to the TSI2 hybrid, and I wasn't hitting it better than I every hit my previous club from the first shot. Made two other changes, and I was hitting it dead straight, 220 yards, beautiful slow, lifting shots. I honestly just said to the guy, "I'll buy 14 of these, thanks". Similar issue with the driver, now plugging it 40+ yards longer than my previous driver. I'd say I mishit the new driver further than my old driver.

    Normally those Titleist clubs fittings are specially for club members only, as I was told by a Titleist fitter. Not open to the public. Titleist does have fittings that are open to the public where a $100 fee is charged and goes toward the purchase of the clubs. My understanding there is no refund if you do not make a purchase. Makes sense to me. In the past, at the Titleist Thursday free fittings, people would make appointments get their numbers and not make a purchase.
