All depends on your current game. If you are a high handicapper and are struggling with the game I would go see a Pro and get some lessons and get a good grip on the basics. Being you dabbled in high school, maybe you did not get a good grasp of the game. Sometimes we jump into the game, as I did without learning it properly.

Once you have done this I would definitely find a Titleist certified fitter and find clubs that match your setup and swing. The irons that you are playing do need an update in that they are 2010-2011 models and the technology has changed so much in the past thirteen years. Titleist make some great irons for every level of play. Best on your your return to the game and welcome to Team Titleist.

Depends on your golf intentions. To me getting fit is a dedication to improving your game. And do it right. Find a qualified fitter with access to a full set of options who can work outdoors, because that is where real golf is played.

I strongly suggest that you locate a Titleist Premier Fitting Partner. No matter what your handicap is, you need properly fit equipment. It will be a worthwhile experience. Be prepared to spend some money, but once again, it’s worth it. Sounds like you are committed to improving your game, so give yourself the best opportunity for success. Good luck and have fun. And keep us posted.

Get fit.it helps higher handicaps just as much as low handicaps as you have more strokes you can shave off your score,
  6. If its in you budget full bag fitting is the way to go... Club Champion can be expensive ,some of the golf retailers will do a fitting for no cost or credit you the cost of the fitting towards purchase of the equipment. Also consider lessons ..Good luck

You should be good to get fit now. The only impact may be the iron selection you end up with, but you could always go for something a little less forgiving if you think you'll outgrow the clubs.
