Yes, I just got a new TSR3 driver with a ventes tr shaft and have found 20 more yards of carry just from making a change from my old TM driver. I think that what Titleist has done in the metal woods game is crazy, I have had a ts3 fairway wood for 3 years now and don't plan on changing the head anytime soon.

In meeting with the R&D guys a few weeks ago in Carlsbad, they said technology and design improvements usually equate to maybe 1 mile an hour speed improvement so that should be only a few yards but they said other factors like shaft and swing confidence is playing a part in some people seeing these significant gains.
