any input would be great!! is there a big difference in these two? I have heard so many different things like PX spins more, launces higher. DG hits lower, spins less. What do you guys think? Ko-B

Head/loft/CG has the most influence on flight.

Manufacture specs the PX as a low trajectory shaft.  Flex is another measurement.

I found the PX to be not reliable in flex throughout the set.

DG is a bit heavier in grams. Not a ton of feel but a good shaft IMO.

I play old 6.0 Rifle Precision shafts in 710 MBs.

Project X definitely launches higher and spins less than the DG s300.  Usually about 1 degree higher, and at least 200 rpms less according to our research.  RC

Thank you for the help!!! I was checking because I have the px 5.5 in a set of ap1s Hit 8 iron about 155 but really high, just got a set of ap2 with the DG s300 and didn't loose any distance I think the ap1 is 2 deg stronger in lofts, so I was trying to see if it was more of the head Than the shaft, thanks again!!!! The px deff fells lighter than the DG. Ko-b

thank you very much Ryan for taking the time to help me. I REALLY like the way the project x feels, so if they spin a little less if i put px in my ap2s would i pick up more distance, also what project x would be the best 5.5 or 6.0 or similar to the dgs300? thanks again for any input!! ko-b

    You're welcome!

In my experience the 5.0 Project X is more consistent and is a better match to the S3.  If you can try those before anything else, you'll probably be surprised!

In theory, if you currently spin the irons too much, and the Project X knocks off about 200 RPMS, you would see a little more distance.  The general rule is that you want the iron times 1000 spin...so a 6 iron should spin at 6,000.

  10. How does the project x 6.0 vs the project x 6.0 95 differ besides being lighter.
