    Hi Geoffrey,

Sorry to hear of this situation and it is definitely a new one for us. I know you mentioned that you threw away the box but if there is any chance that you still have any of the golf balls left we would really like to take a look. We hope to hear from you soon.

Well I know they are authentic because I purchased them at dickssportinggoods. I dont't have any balls left because I was golfing with my young cousin who is just learning the game. Needless to say I had a bad day mike!

Sorry to hear the day wasn't the best. Hopefully as the saying goes, a bad day on the golf course is still a good day overall.

I'll certainly pass your message along to the team in the meantime. I also sent you a PM with a few other questions. Talk to you soon.

Well if it was your last ball then no real loss. kinda hard to believe it fell apart unless it was not a real golf ball.

You don't have any left of the 20 dozen you just bought?

What do u mean by the 20 dozen I just bought! And I can hardly beleive it fell apart. BTW its a loss when the balls are around 4 bucks a peice.

  6. Wow you your able to hit the cover off the ball with a wedge! Only one problem with the story, if you were hitting your 3rd shot to a par 5 from 100yds out, why did you go into your bag for last ball. You must complete the hole with the ball you started you.

You don't realize I started the hole with my last ball!

Are you sure your wacky buddies didn't substitute one of those exploding trick golf balls on you?

Why would you throw the whole box away??? Quite frankly i don't believe your story. Sounds like your trying to get a free dozen balls from Titleist

uhuh coming from a guy that didn't witness it firsthand like me. I left the box in my cart and the cart guy threw it away. Just wondering but how do you know the compensation for a bad ball?

Has anybody else been loving the new prov1s? I liked then so much I just stocked up and bought 20 dozen of them. That should last for a long long time right?

Ha, If you didn't see the date that was several weeks ago.

  14. Hmm, very simply if we were to pay close attention the story seems improbable. I am sure the company is interested in your experience with the balls, what company wouldn't be, but here is the problem as you state it. You said "I take out the last ball of my new prov1s" (i just bought my 1st box today by the way) then later go on to say you were "so mad I threw the whole box away!". Hmm, there were no more balls left, so nothing to throw away...right???? Hey, maybe I am missing something or...or...or...lol.

Cant wait to play mine this week. I don't have money but I love the game and just scored 100 last week (down from 135 last year) so I treated myself. I feel like a kid with new sneakers..bet ya I can beat ya racing!!!

OK it's all good. I hope you have better luck in the future, And I am sure it was just a fluke if the ball did fall apart.

It would have been cool to see the ball.

    Take care.

The story doesn't seem to fall in line.  BUT...It can happen.  I cracked a competitor's ball using a driver at a ball fitting and another of the same brand, driver again, out on the course.  My swing speed is 105-110 so nothing real powerful. It would have been interesting to know the cause.

take care too my friend. Sorry to come off standoffish but you were quit doubting of a situation you know literally nothing about.

you'll have to take a picture next time for proof!  seems you have some doubters.

Maybe your grooves are illegal on that Vokey?  ;-)

Well, it was a vokey that rarely got any use with the old grooves that are supposed to be changed for pro players

You went through 20 dozen ball balls in a few weeks? What are you providing balls for your whole golf club? Looks like Brent has you all figured out I have a hard time believing this story, the only time i've seen a brand new ProV1 come apart is after a worker on the course run it over with the cutter. I work at a Golf club and probably play around 100 rounds a year. Ive never seen it nor had any members come back into the pro shop to complain.

Stuff happens.  Actually kinda funny when it occurs at a ball fitting.  I was at Bay Hill 3/4 yrs ago when I split a B'stone.  The guy that was running the fitting nervously alibied that it was because his supply was "getting hit" so often.  There were about 40-50 people waiting in line who all looked at one another in amazement. B'stone did a great job with a great fitting venue, but an embarrassing moment for them.
