    Good afternoon all,

Received a sleeve of Test balls a couple days ago so thank you to Titleist for that, I will be testing them very soon.

The question I have is eventually after doing the survey will  we be able to find out what ball we tested so if we really like them we know  which ball to eventually purchase?

I am 90% of the time a PRO V1X guy but if the balls  I test  fit my game and I love the results I get with them and they happen to be a new version of NXT TOUR I would like to know that .

Thanks again for the sleeve a chance to play them.

  2. I got a sleeve of balls to test and love them. They were a good 20 years past my current bstone Rex.

will we know what we were given?

Short answer, no. They are a gift of the Gods and your honest evaluation is the only price and reward for the gift. You can guess that this late in the cycle they are finalizing the new Pro-V1/V1x balls due in January. It is low odds that these may be NXT or other non-urethane balls at this time that were released this past January. Nice to know that you boom the ball more without getting a ball designed for your swing speed? Not sure how they can improve the new ones after the last release - softer yet with a more scuff resistant cover and great off of tee onto green. I can't wait to try.

    Thanks Don O ,

That is what I figured since my profile I have listed PROV1x as my ball of choice  but I figured I put it out there since I was not sure if they let everyone know what they tested.

Without any certainty and only hazarding a guess, a red numeral may be the Pro-V1x prototype and a black may be the Pro-V1. The most important feedback will be what it was compared to. Hoping my playing partners on Sunday will allow adequate test strokes in addition to my playing with the current Pro-V1x.

I also received a sleeve last week and had great fun testing them. I gave one each to other players in my group ( there were 3 of us) and we tested them side by side for about 13 holes. Similar skill sets and ability. Look forward to reviewing them and I have the feedback from the other players as well. I assume I'll see an email soon. Thanks Titleist!
