Optic Yellow Pro V1x

    I am 73 in December, play to a 5 handicap, and will play golf until I can no longer stand up beside the ball. My biggest challenge today is seeing that little white Pro V1x between 150 and 250 yards from the tee box. Cannot see the golf ball that far anymore. Can still hit it - just cant see it. A year ago, I aced a short par three and a month ago stuffed a 160 yard six-iron for eagle on a 400 yard par four. DID NOT SEE EITHER ONE OF THOSE HOLE OUTS. Would really love to see just one more ace or eagle go in before I retire to St. Peters Pub links in the sky. Hey, team Titleist. Any chance of an optic yellow Pro V1x for our optically challenged - no - visually dangerous species of golf nuts?

    Neldon, I remember, as you probably do as well, the yellow and orange titleist balls everywhere in the 1980's....I have to admit I loved the yellow color on balls...would enjoy seeing them again as well!

    A yellow and an orange would be very helpful for us northerners who play year-round!

    Feel your pain. Cataract surgery and a detached retina has diminished my ability to see further than 150-180 yards. When I lose sight of my Pro-V1x, it was a good hit. Hopefully still going straight so I can find it.

    Way to go Neldon! I asked this question when I took the Titleist ball fitting, they gave me a two ball sleeve of NXT with color and they are not bad just not as good a performer as the ProV line - especially good in the cold weather. You can see them really well.

    I would love to see yellow or orange in the Pro V line.  It helps hackers like me find my ball faster near all the trees I seem to hit.

    Unfortunately Titleist does not offer those colors in the ProV1, However the NXT tour soft yellow may be your best bet. It has the soft feel that some look for and find a similar comparison to the ProV1.

    Yeah I'm right there with ya' Neldon.  I can see the ball while its going up high but on the way down I tend lose sight of it.  In eastern Ohio this year we have had fog that lasts sometimes until noon and that makes the challenge even worse.  A buddy gave me a couple yellow balls and they do make some difference, I can see them further.  It would be nice to see those test balls go into production and have a yellow version.

    You Could always try some of the Japanese versions that do come in Optic Yellow

    I would love to hear the Titleist views and comments as to whether they will entertain or have plans to introduce an optic yellow for us in the Pro V lines in the near future. If they want, we can just order them with our personal orders. I would think,, being the number one ball, that it would gain market share. For all the people that buy the competition they could return to the Number 1 ball!

    I'm there with you Neldon.  I prefer the optic Yellow and so play the cally Chrome+ Yellow ball.  It performs nearly the same as the ProV but does not have nearly the feel.  And I am not a fan of the NXT so ...

    Titleist PLEASE consider adding a YELLOW ball to you lineup in the future!!!!!

    i Do play the yellow nxt but would prefer a tour ball in optic yellow. That way i wouldnt have to purchase a competitor brand ball

    Thanks for brining this issue up one more time. Overall a Optic Yellow ball is much easier to see. I've used the NXT Tour S ball, but my ball of choice is the ProV1x. I would think there are a lot of us old guys that would appreciate and purchase a ProV1 or ProV1X in Optic Yellow.
