I'm not sure about an actual date or year of production as I am about a specific "version" or "generation" of ball. The Pro V1 and V1x's use an identifying arrow system to differentiate versions. I had pre 2012 versions of the Pro V1 and they had a solid, black arrow on both sides of the ball. The 2013 generation or version, had an uninterrupted, solid gray shaded set of lines and the newest version or 2015 generation has a set of gray lines, that are two piece (arrow head separated from the body of the arrow) on both sides. You could also check the USGA Rules (they have a section on Approved balls with identifying marks) or perhaps websearch photos of various Pro V's. Hope this helps a bit. D
