When I hit a full shot with my new Volkey wedges I ruin both the ProV1 and the ProV1x. Any suggestions.

Did you sharpen your wedge? I sharpened my old cleveland wedges and I was ripping pro v covers like they were orange peels. I hope the new Pro V's I just bought will wear a little better than previous models...
