Hate to bring this up again, but how about a premium yellow ball? I usually play the ProV1x but decided to put some yellow solos in the bag. Played well with them. Just so much easier to see. Hopefully there will be some yellow ProV's in the future.

I echo your comments. When is Titleist going to accept that yellow balls are not a fad that will fade away ? Its time for yellow ProV's.

I would make the move as well. Oh well, will stick with NXT Tour S until it happens

I would certainly try them if available. Would prefer ProV1X

Love the yellow golf ball. It is so much easier for me to track in the air and find in the rough.
  6. I have too have to endorse this idea. I love the performance profile of the Pro V1x, as it really fits my game. That said, I have got old eyes whose acuity does not allow me to enjoy those high epic hits down range. How about allowing those wonderful Titleist alchemists to throw a bit of yellow-dye into the mix for a one month pilot to see how the market responds? I'm in for a season's worth of inventory!

From what I heard at the Titleist invitational last fall, yellow PROV's are not in the pipeline as it takes a different type of paint that would change the composition of the PROV's. Maybe things have changed, but I wouldn't hold my breath. The NXT's are a great optic yellow option.

Unfortunately the NXT only has yellow in the tour s. It would be great if it was available in both models.

I would like to try a yellow ball in a ProV or VX1. Most of the clubs I frequent utilize yellow range balls though. They are all over the place and may be fun finding the Easter Egg on a few holes, but I like the visibility.

I've tried many an optical yellow ball, and nothing compares when I can find the white Pro-V1x. A couple of years ago someone posted how to dye the balls. I'll give that a shot and see how well the cover holds up. Titleist does a whole lot of marketing analysis so if the amber balls that cost more to make would do more than just cannibalize white ball sales, they'd be on the shelf.

Don't forget the DT Trusoft. It plays like the PRO V1X , good stuff. I switched last Nov. and haven't looked back. Optic yellow is very easy on the eyes.

    I love yellow.
  13. I'd play an optic yellow Pro V1. I cuurently play the NXT Tour S optic yellow but may buy a sleeve of the DT Trusoft after reading some of the posts on this string.

Now have an amber ball as good as a Pro-V1x..The one on the left (or top if not rotated) IS a Pro-V1x, the other is a DT Solo for comparison. My first batch. May work on adding a touch of green to liven it up a little. Normally play white, but if with 65+ partners or cloudy days, will use these.
