Love Pro V1 and 1X. But if you had to choose another Titleist ball which one would it be? And why?

I love the cally Chrome Soft as well as its price. So I was wondering if the other Titleist balls would be comparable to that.

    Any feedback would be great.

    Thanks

Ryan -- Pro V1/Pro V1x has to be the best ball out there. But, if I was not going to play that ball, then I would play the Titleist NXT Tour S ball -- soft feel, good distance and good greenside spin/control. It's a better priced ball than the Chrome Soft too -- at least where I live.
  3. I would consider the NXT Tour or NXT Tour S. The S model is lower launching and feels slightly softer just like the ProV1. The NXT Tour model is higher launching and feels firmer like the ProV1x.

NXT models are a pretty good alternative.

I play the ProV1x and also love the Cally ChromeSoft - such a great ball but like everyone here is saying, the NXT Tour S will be comparable from a price point of view. I've played them-you'll still get great performance from it, though not like the Pro V1/x or ChromeSoft, but a very good ball.

I am committed to the Prov1, but have been known to play the DT Trusoft. It is a good soft golf ball and is very reasonably priced.
  7. Nxt is my go to mid priced ball and I get any tour level ball cheaper than the nxts but I prefer them. Spin is about the same for me

NXT Tour S... love it especially because you can get it in Yellow

Agreed. I really appreciate the yellow ball option.

My range carries the NXT Tour balls which are great. I currently play the Pro V1x but I wouldn't have any issue switching to these if I had to.

I haven't seen the metal soft ball on a special like the 4-for-3 Pro-V sale traditionally in March. That price is under the Callie and just over the NXT balls. I now depend on the spin on short shots around the green and wouldn't switch even in cooler temps.
