Had the chance to play with the Titleist test golf balls today. First off when I say soft I mean it in a good way. Weather was 70, sunny with a 10-20 mph wind. Driver Results: distance is on par with pro v's. Sound: not a solid click like with the prov's but a solid thump. Feel: soft but not mushy, just enough if you like the softer type feel. Irons: Distance I felt was a little better than average. Sound: muted even with a solid strike, not really any feedback noticed. Feel: solid feel, nothing more to say. Putter: Really liked the feel off the putter face. Ball didn't jump, did not feel it jumped off the face so control was not issue. Stopping on the greens was really good. I'm am not a person that usually stops a ball on the green with any club but I felt like I could with this ball. I did end up losing all three balls on the back nine, my swing went to crap! I would like to thank Titleist for sending me the test golf balls. Maybe for us guy's in the north Titleist can send them a little earlier in the season.
