    Ireceived a Titleist Lady golf ball from a long time golfer who is no longer able to play the game. He used these as he claimed they went further and this was his last ball in his bag. He has since passed on and I got to wondering about the ball.

    My question is this: When was the last time Titleist made and sold this ball???

    The Lady Titleist golf ball was manufactured and sold from 1980-1985 and then the Titleist 384 Lady - 1986-1990.  Hope this helps.

    [/quote] I remember back in my caddie days (1972-1973) they had 3 types of Titleist balls - red lettering and numbering (80 compression), black lettering and red numbers (90 compression) and all black lettering and numbers (100 compression). Just about all the ladies would use the all red ball and the men would use it as the weather approached freezing.

    I found a Red letter Lady Titleist 2 Black letter Durable SURRLYN last week. I did not know that Titleist made balls for Ladies. I think I'll put it in my collection.$? any idea ?

    A friend of mine just gave me a sleeve of these for Christmas! He found them in his mom's basement : )
