AVX vs Pro V1X

    I usually play the Pro V1x, but I bought a box of AVXs. First time I played it, I could not tell any difference, but I pulled a new one out yesterday, and played in a 40/km hour wind, and absolutely loved it. It went further that the Pro V1x, and handled just the same on the greens. I made several really good chips, and had 26 putts.

    The more I play the AVX ball the more I like it. I know conditions around here have dried up considerably over the past week, but I am finding this ball goes further than the ProV1x on a regular basis, and around the greens I see and feel no difference than the ProV1x. Coming off 3 rounds in the 70's over the past 3 days using that ball. Now my problem is: how do I justify buying more golf balls when I just purchased 4 dozen ProV1x's a couple weeks ago?

    Sell the Prov1xs to your friends and cut your losses or trade them for the AVX at the course where you play, unless you had them customized. They are the same price.

    They were customized, 4 for the price of 3. Oh well. I am sure they will get used.
