I’ve been playing Pro V1’s since the were introduced almost two decades ago and have yet to find a point where their performance drops off. Unless they are damaged, like scuffed from hitting a cart path I generally play them until I lose them. Tournaments are different. Start with two new balls and rotate them through the round. Then back in my bag for the next casual round. Occasionally I will take pity on a veteran ball that is really showing it’s playing scars and consign it to the shag bag.

When you lose at least one ball per round like me, you don’t have to worry about things like this.

I bought a box of X’s a few weeks ago and darent use them! Just too good to lose!!

Trees or cart path get the best of my ProV don't loose a lot I am lucky with the trees generally come back out in rough or fairway

I frequently play 3-4 rounds on a Pro V1 and see no deterioration in performance.
