Just tried the latest prototype ball as a tester for Team Titleist.  Anyone else play them yet?  To me, it felt more like an NXT than a Pro V.

I also was on ballpanel 1.  Normally I play ProV1x, but sometimes nxt tour.  When testing against ProV1x it felt a little more like the ProV1.  Got about 5 yards more on my irons.  Same great drop and stop.  Not scientific, but that is what it seemed to me.

Also a tester on Ballpanel 1 and found the ball didn't hold the greens as well as the pro v but distance on drives was a little better. Softer feel off the clubface. Has anyone had a problem accessing the feedback site?

I noticed 2 distinct differences with the test ball. 1) Cover seemed alot more durable as some of the others have noted. and 2) It seemed to be a lot hotter coming off the face of the club. Especially with my driver, it really seemed to jump off the face quicker. Didn't seem to spin as much as the regular Pro V1 around the greens but it wasn't that much of a discrepancy.

I was also on the panel.  My current Index is 4.0.  I also noticed the test ball seemed "hotter" off the driver and 3-wood.  The irons also seemed to carry farther with the trajectory of the wedges higher than the ProV1.  The test ball didn't seem to spin as much on short shots/chips around the green.  Also, the ball didn't "suck back" as much but appeared to take one forward hop and then stop.

    Also, I noticed very early on that they don't float . . . . . .

    Thanks for selecting me.

I liked it, Played 36 holes with the same ball, looked like it could go back in the box, I think I hit it father then the PV1 and

PVX, wasn't klicky around the green, didn't seam to spin to much with the short irons, I could control the flight.

I liked the ball that you sent to test. It felt like the pv1x I use all the time. It was nice and long off the tee. I didn't feel it held the greens as well as the pv1x. Distance off my irons was about the same. The ball had a nice feel putting.  Overall nice ball good feel all around.

Thanks for including me in test panel.

I also tested the ball, I compared it to my normail ProV1 got a little more distance on the irons, but the biggest thing I think I noticed was the duribility, I keep Titleist in business shredding covers of ProV's but the Test ball seemed to hold up a lot longer.

I had a similar feel to yours.  More distance and less spin.  It felt more like a 1x to a Pro V.  Anyone know what prototype we tested?

I found the test ball to be very similar to the PRO V1. I did'nt get the spin around the greens although I did have more distance off the tee. I liked it but it will take a lot for me to veer from the Pro V1.
