Paddy Harrington's Win with the Prototype ball?!?!

    So for all the lucky folks that got to test the ball, I'm sure you're wondering what I'm wondering: What ball did we test?

    Maybe this information, is on double secret probation, but since I saw the Tweet about Paddy's big win, I have to ask-  Is this the same ball that we tested, and when will these be available for purchase?

    The packaging for the Tour players new Pro's looked like the same packaging my sleeve came in.  I can only assume that what I tested was the same ball Paddy used to propel himself to victory in Asia.

    Maybe someone with some insight can shed some light on the subject...

    Either way, congrats Paddy, congrats Titleist, and I can't wait to smack these babies around.

    I also believe Paddy used the same ball as we tested because of the same mysterious white packaging. Which I also received. Maybe team titleist could give us some insight.

    I thought he couldn't use a "test" ball in tournament play ? That would have gotten him disqualified as a test ball isn't on the list of conforming or approved golf balls. He must have been using another ball and not the testt ball. It even states "do not use for tournament play" in the letter that was sent with the sleve of test balls.

    I'm 100% sure he wouldn't use a nonconforming ball in competition.  

    Perhaps the test ball was approved by the authorities.  The tweet said he was using a new ball, and I want to know if it was the same test ball that we used.  I really liked the test ball, and hope to buy a couple of boxes when/ if they come out.

    I recollect Greg Norman being DQd for using a prototype ball.   I think it wasn't marked or registered or something.  I guess there is a rule about using such for tournaments.   I'll have to research this one for sure.

    Norman disqualified himself at the Hartford Open.  His Maxfli ball that was marked XS9, should have been marked XS90. A legal ball with the USGA.   One Zero made the difference.  Not from being a prototype ball.  He played the first 2 rounds with the XS90.
