Well, if it's indeed true, and we tested the new Pro V1's, I can almost guarantee you that they'll be put in to production. However, they probably won't be available to purchase until the "begining" of the new year.

Just remember that the "Test" balls are non-conforming and should not be used in competition.    

I assume that would be the next step on the prototype Golf Balls.  I really liked the feel of them on a pure shot but noticed they scuffed really easily.  I assume it's because I cause allot of backspin but still they didn't make many shots before they looked like they were from 2 rounds ago.

That is odd that you noticed they scuffed easily.  I skipped the same ball off of the cart path a couple of times (rough round that day) and was expecting to see a nasty scuff.  There was barely a mark on them.  I have to tell you, I was astonished at the durability of the ball.
