Got to test the balls on a trip to Florida last week. Pro V1, I found there wasn't a lot of difference for me. Driver swing is in the mid to high 90's - but found 4-6 yards carry on the Pro V1x and loved the ball flight. Irons were maybe a just a little bit longer, but stopped on a dime when hit crisp. Switched to the TP5x last year and excited to be gaming all Titleist stuff in 2025

Friends in the US seem to have noticed the new ball being available on PGA Tour Superstore.

Maybe worth checking out for those that can!
  3. Not too sure what is to come with the new golf balls. I think they might work on creating a softer feel for the ProV1x as I have heard complaints from other players that the x model feels a bit “clicky” Although I’m not too sure as I play the standard ProV1 model.

You are correct Michael, the new ball feels (sounds) much better to me than the old ones.
  5. Interesting that on release day of the new balls Harris English won the Farmers using a 2017 ProV1.

Picked up the new PRO V1X this past weekend (new balls drop 1/25) and shot an 74! I didn't hit the ball that great lol, so I am impressed, thanks Titleist! Seems to be more forgiving on miss shots and notice a little more distance on good tee shots..

Just picked up a box of 2025 Pro V1's today. From putting practice so far they feel softer. We will see when I put them in play next week.

I haven’t played ProV1s in a few years. I’m looking forward to testing the out!

Love the new ProV1- with the left dot gone it is a FABULOUS replacement!!
  10. Anyone tested the new ProV1x vs Left Dash? I love everything about the Left Dash except one thing... My left miss with driver. When ever I miss left I don't have enough spin and get no carry. May be more of a driver issue than ball issue (trying out the Ventus TR 6X so we will see). But I am curious if a touch more driver spin may be better for my game. Any high swing speed people out there have any thoughts?

Played my first round with 2025 ProV1x and was impressed with how the ball reacted around the green and on knowdown 3/4 quarter shots. Allowed me to gain back some confidence I had lost over the last month.

Played the 2025 v1 last week in Florida - was very impressed. Hit several bunker shots (rusty iron game due to living in Michigan and it being winter) and I was pleasantly surprised there was little to no surface damage to the ball. Additionally, I managed to bounce the ball off the top of a bulkhead on an approach and didn't notice a scuff on the ball. I don't know if that was just happenstance, but I was very pleased with the durability.

I have had the opportunity to work with both the Pro V1 and Pro v1x. With the Pro V1X I was able to gain control of the spin around the green and it stops on a dime. I also find it a bit more spinney for mid irons, unless you are making solid strike every time you will find it less appealing than that of the Pro V1. I have nothing but great things to say about this one. Longer, controlled, and spin when you need it most. Great stopping power on the green. I have increased my handicap over this past year from a 3 to +.05. My swing speeds from the Driver range between 105-111. Average carry for the year at 100 rounds was 281.7. Average 7 iron carry is at 181.3.

This year is going to be a bit more of a trial-and-error stage, I recently like on Monday Picked up my New T150's with the Project X shafts. I have put in the Bag this winter the GT-3 9 Degree Driver, GT-2 13.5 degree and the GT-3 5 Wood at 18, and running a 21.5-degree TSR-4 Hybrid, Shafts are all Fujikura Ventus Blue Velo Core + 5S.

Wish me luck and will provide updates after 3 months of Play and what I am thinking of each with real data based off Trackman and measured on course distances with the Garmin S12 watch.
  14. I just played the new prov 1 and for the first time in my life I think Prov1 took a step back. The new version spins around 500 rpms more for me on average and its creating a higher trajectory for me which I do not like. Im not sure why they decided to add spin to a low spin ball on longer shots. i should have stocked up on the 2023 model.
  15. I used the new ProV1 for a few rounds. It feels so soft — getting less feedback with wedges. But it also feels faster, and the ball flight is perfect. I haven’t tested it in the sim yet, but it felt juiced the first time I used them.
