I played the new prov1x and the new prov1 Team Titleist sent me. I played the Prov1x since it was introduced and still prefer it over the Prov1. I think the new ball feels softer but doesnt give up any length. If anything, maybe it is longer than the previous Prov1x??? 

Thanks Team Titleist for the balls and solidifying my belief that Titleist is still the best ball out there.
