  1. Hey guys, ive recently began to think a lot more about my golf swing and have put my thoughts into practice, and they work, but the one thing i just cant seem to do is call on draw. i can hit it dead straight or with a mild to sweeping fade, depending on what i need to hit, but cant seem to get the draw going, anyone got any proven tips to help me, all help appreciated, thanks guys

You can achieve the draw by moving your lead foot about 1 inch forward (toward the ball) and take your backswing back at an angle just below your normal swing plane. Practice this on the range to get the proper amount of draw your looking for. Hope this helps.

    1. Slightly closed stance pointing slightly right. 2. clubface slightly closed at address (pointing toward target or slightly left) 3. Front foot more forward (ball slightly behind left heel vs on instep); effectively ball slightly back in stance. 4. Swing on foot-path. 5. More of a baseball swing. I have a bit of an "aid" - draw driver because my natural wood swing is slightly outside in so a slightly closed stance and swinging on the target line = straight drive. I can draw and fade the ball pretty well.
  5. Cheers for the help guys, will try to use all the help on the course , hopefully will get the draw back

Years ago I was hitting pretty little 6 iron fades on a practice range when the club pro walked up to compliment me on my swing and ball flight. I thanked him for the kind words and he asked if I could hit a draw. I told him I'd tried everything I could think of to hit it right to left but nothing worked. He then asked if I'd like to hit a draw to which I replied absolutely. He told me to square up my stance, relax my right arm, and swing normally. I followed his instructions and hit a nice little draw. He just smiled and said "now go enjoy that out on the course" as he walked away. I was amzed and astonished that it was accomplished with just minor adjustments to my setup. I've played a draw ever since and can still hit that little fade to right side pins when I have to. I don't know if this will work for you or not but remember to relax and let it happen. Don't try to force it. Good luck!
