How many of you have watched the following:

    1. Don Trahan's Peak Performance Golf Swing - promotes a vertical golf swing (one of the biggest opponents of rotational golf swings). This is where I developed a compact backswing.

    2. Paul Wilson - author of Swing Machine Golf. IMHO, pretty simple and effective instruction. His anti-slice videos are great (the reason people slice is they swing too hard) as are teaching the mechanics of the golf swing. What I got out of it is that you can hit the ball just as far by swinging easy.

    3. Wally Armstrong's Circular Power Golf Swing - key thing was the use of props (such as coathangers). The only problem with that is it promotes a bit of a wristy swing.

    4. Bob Mann Automatic Golf. Shows BM with a line of golf balls whacking them one after another. I found it a bit confusing years ago. How many have used www.allexperts.com? (a couple great teaching pros - Eddie Kilthau and John Brott; both respond in a timely manner) How many read Pelz' articles? Great stuff on distance control.

Between Don Trahan, Paul Wilson, Eddie Kilthau, John Brott and Pelz, I think these have helped my golf game immensely. Also, for some of you oldsters out there.... who has read Julius Boros' "Swing Easy Hit Hard?"

Other books, videos that you like? I have Jim McLean's "The Three Scoring Clubs" and one of the tips about wedge play helped cure both a problem with shanking and severe pulls back in 2008. The reason was the hips weren't clearing.
