  1. Hi TT,

I need help spinning the ball while in the bunkers. I often face a bunker shot with little green to work with. In this case, I open the face fully flat and flop the ball up, yet still hitting sand only. It works, but then it's one dimensional. I need help adding one more shot to the bag. Thanks.

Try making a steeper swing so you can hit a little closer to the ball.  If you take a lot of sand the ball is going to release on you.

  3. The more sand you take, the more the ball will roll out. I like getting a little steeper and really trying to take the club outside and cut across the ball like trying to play a serious slice. It doesn't require a large swing, especially if it is a short bunker shot. Also, keep the club face open through impact as that will help you slide underneath it more and get more spin. If you don't, it would be like adding draw spin which would make the ball release more.
