Watching Bubba Watson this spring recaptured my love for golf. It was at a point where my game was in the toilet and then it hit me as I saw him hook the wedge in the playoff. You don't need to be perfect to play golf, I mean look where he hit the drive. Playing golf is all about being comfortable and having fun. I emediatley went back to the simple tips my grandpa taught me on things like reading greens and shot shaping. My handicap went from 11 to 7 in 2 months and is still dropping. Remember it is always good to take a lesson here or there to fix a huge problem, but no more than ounce a month unless your a tour player. Amatuers just need have a good time and go back to the things that feel right and are easy to manage.
Have fun "digging it out of the dirt"
