For me, "when it's breezy, swing easy" is a tip that echoes in my head...even when it's not breezy. I find it helps me with my tempo.
Any other good ones out there?

I was taught at impact to have the feeling of throwing a bucket of water out to the target. For some reason that has always helped me.

I'll swing a few at the range with my feet together. If I'm still making good contact and not feeling like I'm gonna fall on my face I know my tempo is on point. Especially in the early season I find my tempo is bit off.
My Grandpa used to tell me "if you look up before you make contact you're not gonna like what you see." Just reminds me to keep my head down, especially when I'm putting

I recently heard a cool analogy about the swing from Shawn Clement, a great teacher up in the Toronto area. In thinking about how your body should move during the swing, imagine a playground swing. Like you may have done when you were a kid, if you were to stand on the swing's seat and swing back and forth, right at the bottom of the forward swing you'll naturally squat down a bit and drive your weight into the seat. This accelerates the momentum of your body falling with gravity and you'll swing higher and higher with each pass. It's amazing when you apply the same physics to your golf swing. Make practice swings back and forth, without stopping. As the clubhead reaches the bottom of its arc (which will ultimately be impact with the ball) let your lower body drive the momentum of your falling club, hands and arms. The clubhead is just like like the seat of the swing and your arms and clubshaft are the swing's chains. Soon you'll get the feel of really "swinging" the golf club through the impact area using your body - vs. hitting at it with your hands and arms.
Shawn has a ton of great videos on YouTube. For more info, check out his site at http://web.mac.com/shawnclement/Site/Welcome.html

The best swing tip that I ever got was to shorten my swing. If I am starting to lose a few shots, I concentrate on shortening the swing and making solid contact. It works!

Mine is a swing thought for both putting and full swing. "You can't hit and think at the same time."-Yogi Berra
In golf you need to do a lot of thinking but once you are ready to execute the shot you need to clear your head to focus on the execution. clearing out your head takes all bad thoughts of hazards or potential consequence. When you have a bad thought creep in to your head pre shot then just back off the ball and refocus yourself.
