    Hello,

I've been playing golf for three years now and I'm progressing extremely quickly (shooting in the 70s). I'm having trouble hitting my driver with a higher ball flight. I hit my irons and wedges a mile high and spin them a pretty good amount. If there are any tips or drills that could be given it would be much appreciated.

    Regards,

    Sam Lee

Whenever i want to hit my driver higher i usuall just tee the ball up about 1/4 inch more than you are now.

Being fit properly for your driver might be a very enlightening experience and it's certainly the most intelligent answer. As a bandaid to help you hit it a little higher, you can tee it a little higher or play your tee shots a little farther forward if your swing can maintain control doing either or both.

Lastly, something else to consider might be to put a bit of lead tape on the back of your driver. It changes the CG just slightly and it's easy to remove if you don't like it.  Don't over do it or you'll make it too heavy.  One or two pieces should be enough.
