Hey George
That's a tough one. Not sure if you mean smaller in size or shorter in length. Dissappointing answer whatever the Fix said.

George:
I used to play with a man who had a similar affliction. He often wore a right shoe with a built up sole but still had a problem because his right hip was not set into his pelvis in a normal fashion. He became a very good play when he abandoned the special shoe in favor of a strong left knee and increased left knee flex during setup, swing, and follow through.
If your right leg is three inches shorter than your left leg, and you play right handed, you will have a significant overtilt of your shoulders and spine angle to the right. I would imagine you hit best with your driver and have great difficulty with consistency in your irons. To hit down on the irons and stop sweeping them high and short, or hitting fat, then thin, you will need to level those shoulders or even favor the left shoulder to slightly lower than the right. To accomplish this you will need to add quite a bit of additional flex to the left knee and teach yourself to hold the amount of flex as stable as possible throughout the swing. If you are able to turn in the backswing without your right hip fighting back you will pick this up quickly. Don't allow your upper body to get too bent over forward as you'll need to keep the right side standing tall and upright to maintain that shoulder tilt and spine angle.
Didn't know whether your leg was smaller in size or length. One leg smaller doesn't explain the problem enough.
Hey Deno
My right leg is shorter 3 inches and it creates alot of balance problem and setting up or when the ball is below my feet or above and it is hard to get muscle memory and on the tee box if it is not level I have to try to find the best spot possilbe but on the fairway well I have no choice so like I said it comes down to balance
I think an adjustment in your golf shoes would be a way of getting better balance, All golfers have problems with angled lies. I would go to the range, or swing indoors, and experiment with putting something under your foot to level out your stance. You may find you'll feel more balanced. It may be anywhere from 2-3 inches. Once you feel comfortable, then your shoe can be altered. Building the proper balanced stance is a start.
If their is a golf shoe that I can ajust tell me where I can get it or a shoemaker that would know how to do it cause I tried around here where I live and nobody seem they can help me.

I believe Footjoy has a recommended shoe repair company that does special applications. Call FJ customer service. They should point you in the right direction. Hope this helps.
Another thought. if you already have a built up street shoe, perhaps a shoemaker locally can put on a different sole similar to a spikeless golf shoe.
www.larossashoerepair.com These are the Footjoy specialists that do orthopedic modifications and build ups.
This is a good start.
Thanks for the message. Hope you get some results from FJ/Larossa. Let us know how it's going
