Something I have been doing the past few years when Old man Winter comes your way. Get those clubs re-gripped. It's easy to do your self and a lot of places that sell grips will do it for you without any added cost of the grip. I bought a re-gripping station and it really makes re-gripping easy. Now I will re-grip twice a year instead of yearly.

Have you tried the air pump for removal?  I still use the cutter tool, but the airtool looks alot faster.

I have not seen that but the concept sounds good. Sounds like I may need to add a air compressor to my toys, er ah tools :)

I just cut them off with a fresh blade.  I have no use for old grips, and unless you're regripping woods with graphite shafts you don't need to worry.  If you're regripping a graphite shaft and cutting with just a box cutter be very careful...

I really enjoy regripping, reshafting and painting my clubs in the winter.  I'm sprucing up my new Vokeys right now so they look as good as they play once the snow melts.
