Claude Harmon III and Ryan Crysler, one of our top Team Titleist contributors, are back with another great episode of The Contact Show. This episode features a Scotty Cameron putter discussion, a Titleist 910 Driver tee height tip, @claudeharmon shows you how to hit a fade and @RyanCrysler shows you how to read a bunker.

Tell Claude to say Hi to Butch for me.  He and I have a US Army ( Alaska, Hawaii, Vietnam ) connection.   Although he got me hitting more crisp iron shots , and played golf at Moose Run Gold Course on Fort Richardson, he wouldn't remember me no how.  I forgot all about him until I saw him at The Masters with Tiger in '97.  Funny how the years dull the memory.  Great no nonsense guy for sure.  Claude comes from great stock.  Those Harmon's are a very classy family.

Great info on bunker reading. i think alot of people dont know these concepts. I think for most the bunker game can mean the diffrence of 3+ strokes if they hit a bunker and dont know the proper ways to play the bunker. I play with many double diget handi's and every time i see them in the bunker i just want to drop a bucket of balls and show them some of these concepts. Maybe thats and idea for an episode of how to work verious clubs out of verious bunker situations. i think many amatures could benifite from this. and I my self am alsways open to seeing more ideas on this. i might notice some things i've been forgetting.

Good tips men.  I liked the idea of practicing with the belly putter to feel the release.  Is there is specific type of belly putter you would recommend?  I play a 34" Cameron Monterey heavy.  Thanks,

If you want it perfect, you can have the Cameron Custom Shop modify another Monterey into a Belly putter.  That's the beauty of the weight system and shaft system!

It may be a little hard to find the perfect length.  Typically we see 6-8 inches added with our Belly Fitter.  A simple way to fit yourself would be to take a ruler and hold in your hands while you take your normal putting grip and stance.  Then keep extending until you have "pressure" on your belly throughout the entire putting stroke.  Observe the measured difference and you'll have a pretty good idea.

For example, my gamer is 35".  My Belly is 42.5". Depending upon your stance and posture, you could have a gamer at 34" and a belly at 41.5".
