So my son is turning 4 next month.  He started using plastic clubs with real balls....well, that didn't last long before the clubs were broken.  He now has a set of the U.S.A. Kids clubs.  He's hitting the ball very well and is very interested in the game and cries when we have to leave the range.  My question is: When should he start taking formal lessons?  I know quite a bit about the game and am a descent player, but I can only teach him so much.

    Thanks,

    Ryan

He doesn't necessarily needs lessons for a while. He just needs fun! So, headings to the Titleist Junior Performance Center at http://www.mytpijpc.com and see what our Titleist juniors are up to with coach Milo. RC

Putt for icecream.  I know this isn't formal at all, but putting is the best part of my game (the only part I'm good at) and I know it's because my Grandpa and I would have putting contests for icecream.  Looking back I know he "lipped out" a few on purpose, but it was fun, and it got me in the must make/ putting for something mindset; plus, who doesn't love icecream.
