hey everybody,
I have been struggling with my full-swing wedge shots and seem to be always blocking or pushing them to the right, any suggestions? also does the bounce have anything to do with it?
thanks, john

It could be your ball position. If the ball is too far back in my stance and I'm trying to hit a full swing shot, I can block shots right. Same thing if it's too far in front with a full swing. I can yank them left. I would say work on a couple of different ball positions during your next range session or practice round. That way you can see if something as simple as the ball in your stance is the culprit before you start tinkering with your swing. Good luck.

I would agree with Josh. Ball position sounds like it could be an issue.

ball position is the fastest and easiest fix. You may also be coming from the inside plane of your swing. try swinging more on plane.

John,
What I've seen with some people is that when they try to hit full wedges they try to crank them to the extent of their distance with that wedge. What this causes is an over swing, cause you're swinging too hard. Sometimes coming inside on your swing path. Some of the best advice I've ever gotten was to NEVER hit a full wedge. you will be 10x more accurate with a 3/4 52 degree than with a full 56. Give it a shot, see what you think.

These are all very good pieces of advice given by team members. Ball position is a big part, but I tended to pull my wedges even on not full swings. So, I went in and had my lie flattened by 1* and it made a huge difference. If the ball position and easy swing don't help try getting your lies more upright to help. Good luck.

I had the opposite problem. I was pulling my wedges. I changed the lie angle 2* flat on my lob wedge (58*) and 1* flat on my sand wedge (54*). Problem solved immediately.
My suggestion to you would be to do the opposite. Just bend them upright with no swing changes and you should be good to go.
