On Sunday July 16,2023, A hot summer day in Los Angeles CA. We booked a 7:20am tee time @ Hansen Dam Golf course. The 15th hole with the the flagstick placed in the front. Yardage was 151yrs from the blue tees, I decided to hit my 6i. The Impact felt very solid and I was pretty sure I would clear the bunker and land close to pin. I saw the ball land and bounce but could not see the ball after that. My first thought was that the ball had rolled back but my friend Ariel and Ralphie told me that it looked like it was not on the green. Walking towards the hole I decided to video record my first look at the pin and could see my Pro-v 1 in the hole. I go really exited and started to cheer in joy. This was my first hole in 1 after playing golf for more than 20yrs. It was also very special because a year prior on July 15 2022, I had an accident and fractured my ankle. It was pretty depressing after my injury because I am very active and the injury put a pause to every physical activity I enjoyed including golf weekly. It felt great to know I pushed myself to continue golfing and prove to myself that you never give up your passion when life gets hard.
