I was disappointed with my first four holes at Wrotham Heath playing on 8th July 2023. I tee’d up my ball on the fifth (Par 3, 166 Yds, playing downhill) and selected my seven iron. Slight breeze from behind me. From the moment the ball left the club it felt ‘on it’. It bounced once just on the fringe and rolled straight up 15 feet to the hole and in! An incredible feeling - and the previous four hole struggle disappeared!
