Stepped up to the 17th tee on a local course called Hilliard Lakes. Wind was hurting a little so I returned my 4-hybrid and grabbed my 3-hybrid instead to play the 175 yard par 3. I took a smooth swing and saw the ball headed towards the green and the pin. The ball bounced just in front of the green. My playing partner and I saw the ball roll on the green and then we couldn’t see it any longer. Probably rolled of the back I thought to myself. As my playing partner readied to hit his shot, I started walking up the left side of the hole. As I got closer I kept looking for the ball in the bunker, a dip in the green, off the green, etc. but I didn’t see my ball. I finally walked up to the hole and there was my Pro-V 1 in the cup! After 60+ years of golf I finally had a hole-in-one!
