El Dorado Golf Course in Long Beach, CA has a public shotgun on Sunday right after the Long Beach Open. This even allows amateurs to play the course from the tips on the same set up that the pros just played in. I made an Ace on #17 (196 yards) for my first hole-in-one with 3 of my closest buddies. I honestly didn't see it go in because the sun sets right behind this green. Haha Been playing for 25+ years and very happy to get one. It also won a bet!
