  1. My second hole in one came on the start of a holiday weekend, June 30, 2023, at Omni Interlocken, hole 3, Eldorado. Of course, my complaining started as soon as I saw the pin, front right, near the sand trap and of course across the lake. Our son is the Assistant Course Superintendent at the Omni, so he constantly gets to hear my sarcastic comments on pin locations. I always use my confidence club, Taylor made 6 hybird regardless of distance. I have learned to use it to get where needed! Across the water, safe and dry, about 95 yards. I can hit it 130 yards with the club but it’s dependable and I can adjust! Swung away with Hubby watching and a single golfer, watching behind the green, waiting to go to next hole. Hit green dead center, ball hit the ridge, road it right and disappeared. The kiddo in the cart was excited, hubby said it went in. I couldn’t tell, for all I knew it was in the trap or water. The teenage member went to cup and sure enough! It was in the hole! Couldn’t even buy the teen High School Golfer a beer, but hubby took care of dad. Used a found Titleist (we find hundreds) since it was a causal round. Had tons of markings - I would never junk up a ball. I mark with to blue dots under the Titleist logo, both sides. Bar bill $41! Only three guys in bar plus us, $21 for drinks and a $20 tip. Lots of shop credit since I am in the Hole In One Club, $10 for each member signed up. Whoop Whoop! Thanks to our Club Teaching Pro, Dan Sniffin for his recommendation on Titleist Pro V for all things golf!

Congratulations, Gayle! You made out like a bandit, Hole in One club and a darn near empty bar! Great shot!
